• New Charitable contribution rules!  For 2007 you need a receipt or bank record for almost all contributions.  If you want to contribute cash then make sure you get a receipt.  There are limited exceptions when it is impractical to get a receipt - e.g. from the Salvation Army Bell Ringers.  This exception won't work for example for church contributions.

  Contrary to the mailings and calls businesses receive, you can get the poster for free.  With the recent change in NC's minimum wage, all businesses should request a new poster.
